Museo Archeologico Ambientale (Environmental Archaeological Museum) is a municipal and cultural structure which deals the study and the diffusion of archaeology and history from antiquity to the present day. The Museum has five thematic exhibition locations placed in the land of Terre d’Acqua -“Water lands”- Union (San Giovanni in Persiceto, Sant’Agata Bolognese, Anzola dell’Emilia, Calderara di Reno, Crevalcore), ranging from protohistory to contemporary age.
Museo del Cielo e della Terra (Museum of Sky and Earth) is part of the Terre d’Acqua Museum System. It is the science and environmental Museum in the metropolitan area of Bologna and it tells to the public and schools the relationship between sky and earth, plants and animals without forgetting the man and his connection with resources and technology. Founded in 1998, it consists of the astronomical area with Planetarium, FisicLab, "U. Aldrovandi " Botanical Garden and Insect Laboratory.
In addition to the Museum Network composed by Museo Archeologico Ambientale and Museo del Cielo e della Terra, the Municipalities of San Giovanni in Persiceto, Anzola dell'Emilia and Sant'Agata Bolognese offer a rich cultural heritage from gastronomy to motors, from sacred art to the traditions of the agricultural world.
